The photographs in this exhibition were recorded from Alan's Buffalo backyard using a small telescope. Filters placed in front allow only a small fraction of the sun’s energy to reach the camera. Varying filters reveal different aspects of solar energy.

Dear World is a series of mixed media images that speak to a delicate, splintered landscape of dualities with cracks through which ineffable beauty has grown but stories have fallen. Edges where so much has been marginalized and so many are woundable.

A juried and invited exhibition, asking you to consider the sky not just as a backdrop to our everyday lives, but as a dynamic and powerful presence. The artists encourage you to look upward with new eyes, to find meaning in its mysteries, and to celebrate the denizens of this vast and ever-changing expanse.

A selection of amazing astrophotographers working in the Adirondacks. Some are working here right in Old Forge's backyard to others further north and beyond.

Viewpoints showcases the work of View's Mountain Air Painters and Independent Potters. 

This exhibition features the work of student artists from our region.
