View hosts exhibits, performances, workshops and
special events in its new LEEDS-certified green-built and green-run building.

The new 28,000 square foot building includes a state-of-the-art performance hall, expanded exhibition galleries, and fine arts workshop studios.

The center will:
• Attract 40,000 visitors annually
• Serve as an economic development engine for the Central Adirondack region
• Offer artistic, theatrical, and educational programming
• Operate as a "green-built" and "green-operating" building

View and the Kinderwood Early Education Program, which is housed at the center, have recently completed a $400,000 capital campaign to name the Kinderwood Suite in honor of Miriam Kashiwa, founder of both organizations. The Kashiwa Family came together to help raise the funds needed to name the new Kinderwood Suite "The Miriam Davis Kashiwa Kinderwood Suite" by offering to match 20 percent of donations made to the campaign. The campaign reached it goal this fall.
