The display of quilts is hung gallery style and includes quilts from all over the United States. This open juried competitive exhibit features both traditional and eclectic quilts and wall hangings. Over $1800 in cash and prizes are awarded.

2012 Juror of Awards Sandra L. Dorrbecker - NQACJ
Sandra made her first quilt in 1971. She is a former dress shop owner and enjoys making and designing garments as well as quilts. She has been teaching and lecturing on quilting topics since 1989. She received her National Quilting Association certification for teaching in 1994 and has been working nationally ever since. In 2006, Sandra was a member of the first judging team for The 100,000 Quilt Challenge. The State Quilt Guild Show fo NY made Sandra their 2007 "All Star." Her work has been seen in Traditional Quilter Magazine, Threads, Country Living, Patchwork Quilt Senka (Japan), Quilting International, Quilters Newsletter Magazine, and Quiltmaker Magazine. Sandra is a national award winning quilter for both hand and machine work. She designs for the Fairfield Fashion Show, DMC Thread Company, and RJR Fashion Fabrics. Sandra was also invited to participate in the 2002 and 2005 American Sewing Guild's National Show. Her commissioned works may be found in private collections in NJ, CA, HI and France.
