Fritz Messere

Fritz Messere is the recently retired founding dean of the School of Communication, Media and the Arts at SUNY Oswego.  He has taught at Oswego, Ithaca College, and Cornell University.  Previously, he was assistant to FCC Commissioner Mimi Dawson and senior fellow at the Annenberg Washington Program in Communication Policy, and served on the National Experts Panel for the Rural Policy Institute. Fritz is the secretary of Symphoria, the successor to the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra, and serves on the board of CNYArts. Previously, he was on the board of WRVO-FM, public radio, and Artswego.
