SAQA presents byCONTRAST: Apparent Contradictions

This juried exhibition features works from NJ+NY Studio Art Quilt Association (SAQA) members.

For byCONTRAST: Apparent Contradictions, artists were asked to create work that explores the contrast epitomized in everyday expressions. Our language is rich in these seemingly contradictory or incongruous figures of speech, used for dramatic, humorous, or ironic effect. 

The Opening Reception will be on October 4, from 3 - 5 pm. The reception is free and open to the public.

Studio Art Quilt Associates, Inc. (SAQA) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote the art quilt: "a creative visual work that is layered and stitched or that references this form of stitched layered structure."
