Viewpoints

Viewpoints showcases works created by the Mountain Air Painters and Independent Potters, two artist communities at View.

The Mountain Air Painters (MAP) is an eclectic group of artists from Old Forge and beyond who meet weekly to paint. From May to October, the MAP group can be found painting outdoors, capturing the beauty of the Adirondacks. In the winter, they continue their weekly paint sessions at View. 

View's Independent Potters have demonstrated both skill in ceramics and a commitment to the success of View's community pottery studio. These potters learn from one another and through classes at View. They also collaborate on multiple pottery events each year. 

This exhibition unites the work of the two groups, offering a dynamic display of local talent.

An Opening Reception will be held Saturday, March 15th from 4 - 6 pm.

The reception is free and open to the public.
