Overview

Workshop instructor Andre Short will teach you to create a lasting place to store your rings, keys, pocket change, and anything else. This workshop will show you basic wheel throwing techniques to make a ring holder, then allow you to join slab rolled clay to make a catch all dish. After, your items will be glazed and fired for you to pick up at a later date.

André Short was born and raised in the Mohawk Valley where his love of ceramics and pottery began in a high school course. After a hiatus he returned to the art form and has developed his practice through courses, workshops, private lessons, demonstrations, and shows across CNY and in NYC. He is passionate about continuing his growth and knowledge as an artist while helping others enjoy the craft.

No previous pottery experience is required.

All materials and firing fees are included in the cost of the class.
