Overview

Seneca Ray Stoddard (1843-1917) began his career in
photography after moving to Glens Falls in the mid-1860s. Arriving
at a time of growth and re-building, Stoddard captured hometown
and wilderness scenes across the Adirondacks. The photographs
in this exhibit showcase rustic camp life in the Adirondacks at the
turn of the 20th century.

This show is on loan from the Chapman Museum in Glens Falls.
