Overview

If you are interested in learning how to quilt, this class will introduce you to the basics of quilt making.  From cutting to sewing, you will leave the workshop with a finished piece that is ready to place on your table. All levels are welcome, especially beginners!  Bring a lunch!

SUPPLY LIST:  If you don’t currently own the supplies below, we can loan them to you for use in class. Once you learn that you will love quilting and want to continue, then that is the time to invest in your own equipment.

-Fabrics:

   Focus Fabric (the squares): 3/4 yd

   Sashing: 3/4 yd
   Backing: 1 yd

 -Rulers:

   4”-6” wide by 12” - 24” long
   12” square
    Rotary Cutter: either 45mm or 60mm     
    Rotary Mat

-Seam Ripper
-Small scissors to snip threads
-Thread to match your fabrics

-Sewing Machine: It is best to bring your own.  If you don’t have one, please let us know and we’ll loan you one for the class. If you are concerned about the weight of your own machine, we can help bring it in.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made at least 10 days prior to the first day of a class can receive a 100% refund or can be exchanged for another class. Cancellations made less than 10 days prior to the first day of class will not be refunded.  In the event that View were to cancel a class, a full refund for the class will be issued.
