Breaking Boundaries: Contemporary Voices in Glass

Breaking Boundaries: Contemporary Voices in Glass, will feature work by a diverse group of contemporary American glass artists selected for their skillful mastery of the medium and technical diversity that spans – and expands upon – traditional art glass techniques, including flamework, kilnform and kiln casting, glassblowing, coldwork, and stained glass.  Their work encompasses a respect, even reverence, for these traditions while simultaneously pushing the boundaries of the medium through innovative techniques and contemporary content.

The Curator of this exhibition, Jane Bruce, is an internationally recognized glass artist, curator, writer, and educator currently based in NYC.
