Choose from multiple workshops featuring both traditional and art quilting techniques, enjoy informal presentations from experts in the field, -and best of all- network with fellow quilters.

Row Houses with Mary Walter

Let your fabrics, imagination and inspiration be your guide to create your own unique Row House wallhanging from her easy pattern. Students can choose to assemble their quilts using their preferred method of piecing and/or Applique techniques. Materials List

New Hampshire Beauty with David Sirota

Are you curious about paper-piecing? Would you like to know how to make sharp, perfect points? This workshop will show you how to make the rays with perfect points every time with David’s “No More Tears” method of paper-piecing Materials List

Trip Around the World with Pat Harrison

Take the mystery out of creating a precise strata that is then sewn into a tube and cut unto strips of pieced squares. Materials List

Embroidered Houses with Mary Walter

In this half-day class, students will experiment with ways to enhance a vintage black and white postcard with simple embroidery stitches. Materials List

Reversible Quilts with Claire Oehler

Discover an unexpected “two for one” while making a Reversible Quilt. It’s like making twice the quilt in half the time!

Construction is quick and easy because you will be quilting as you’re piecing. Use two totally different colorways - one for each side, and the result will look like two totally different quilts! An ambitious beginner can easily handle this class. Materials List

Block Printing with Jane Davila

Learn to craft blocks from a variety of materials and substrates to print your own bespoke textiles. Materials List

Fractured Maple Leaf –with David Sirota

Choose your color scheme and break out your scraps, jelly rolls, and fat quarters because each leaf is made of small scraps of fabric. Materials List

Scrappy Stars with Pat Harrison

An original pattern that includes a “trim to size” block that will just eat up all those scraps you’ve been saving. Each block is then sashed and a 4-pointed star cornerstone is then inserted. Materials List

Noon Catered Lunch – Gould Hall, including a lecture presented by Jane Davila, “Earthly Delights: The Art of Nature-Inspired Quilts” This fast-paced  and lively lecture delves into the rich and diverse world of nature-inspired quilts,  beginning with traditional quilts and transitioning to art and modern quilts.
